Frequently asked questions
What is the price of an ambulance ride in Bucharest?
You start from 300 RON for an unassisted ride booked at least a day in advance (the 07:30-17:00 window). Same-day requests cost 400 RON, and the option with an emergency medical crew starts at 700 RON. Every rate, night and weekend surcharges included, is on the Pricing page.
What do I pay for a ride in Ilfov?
400 RON when the address sits within 20 km of Bucharest's km 0 (500 RON for same-day requests). Beyond 20 km, the math becomes 4 RON/km + 350 RON for unassisted rides.
How long until the ambulance shows up?
For booked rides we are at the address exactly at the agreed time. If you request for the same day, a crew can arrive within 15-60 minutes depending on availability, with a 100 RON rapid-request fee.
The building has no elevator and the patient lives upstairs — can you manage the transport?
Yes. The crew brings the patient down by stretcher or transport chair from any level. For buildings without an elevator the rate is 10 RON/floor.
How are you different from the ambulance you get by calling 112?
112 remains the free public service, reserved for life-threatening emergencies. We take on everything that means planned medical transport — dialysis, oncology, discharges, transfers, clinic runs — the situations 112 does not send a crew for.
Do you also take COVID patients?
Yes, under a special protocol: 1200 RON for Bucharest, 1400 RON for Ilfov and 10 RON/km on national journeys.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes, we issue a fiscal invoice the moment the ride ends — you can also use it for reimbursement through private health insurance.
Need an ambulance today?
We answer nonstop. You learn the crew, ETA and final sum before the ambulance departs.
